"The Thousand Names Of The Divine Mother" Is one of the most sacred and powerful of chants: To chant the 1,000 mantras is a wonderful way to improve one's understanding and feel that "The Lalita Sahasranama Devi " will always shower protection, Amma advises that this chant be recited daily for the relief of suffering. Detailed explanations are given to each mantra that open up a new world to those unfamiliar with the transcendental realities that pervade our universe. I met a fellow once who very definably had severe mental problems to the degree that he was isolated in a crowd who did not want to interact with him my wife and i spent a lot of time chatting with him and got to know him quite well. . A short year later we met him again and were both stunned to see how much he had changed and improved from his normally near permanent mental disturbance. His speech became normal and he did not stutter, he was able to look us in the eye when he talked and overall this person was a different person. He no longer stood out as an oddball with contorted facial muscles and more. We couldn't help ourselves, so in friendship we asked him what he did to create so much change . HIs answer was simple and a big surprise to us. "Oh i did the 1000 names of Divine Mother every day" Karen and i were shocked and deeply impressed.This is a true story...a very true story.
