Too many errors

When reading the recipes you have to fill in the blanks with your own imagination..Tons of errors. Items missing. Directions missing or unclear. Big disappointment.

Some Recipes Are Southern

But most are really from different parts of Louisiana, not truly Southern at all. Not a fried mullet in the collection. The collards recipe, while looking good, is a more modern taken on the dish. Rinsing once as the recipe suggests may leave you with a mouthful of grit. No recipe for just plain grits, which, when made correctly, are heaven without the shrimp.
Some good, new fashioned recipes. I will definitely try the pecan pie.
