After thousands of years, the debris of the old Tower of Babel have all been scattered invisible to us today, but I could find the very debris in this book.
The author believes that all our different-looking written languages have long since trapped and blinded us. He believes that language is an important part of Human culture and so focuses on the sounds of many different spoken languages, even on single syllables, to find the lost connections of the common origin of all known languages from the English speaking Far West to the Korean Peninsula and the Japanese Islands in the Far East along with the anthropological and cultural evidences to back up the language connections.
The book tells that the language-shift is the result and evidence of the interaction among different people and cultures, and there is the Middle Earth, the ancient Kingdom of Scythia. It was very entertaining to see the presented evidences of the Scythian civilization found within all other known civilizations across Eurasia.
Lastly, the author firmly believes that all the conflicts we have to witness today are due to our misunderstanding from our memory loss that makes us perceive a similarity as a difference and the difference a fault. We do not see the main stream of our common root and origin hidden beneath the surface; instead we only notice the tiny branches and petty differences on the surface, so we keep on misunderstanding each other. Misunderstanding begets frustrating. Frustrating begets anger and hatred. Eventually anger and hatred begets conflict and fight.
I hope this book becomes to initiate for all of us to open our eyes and minds toward differences getting to see the similarity covered beneath our different appearances and languages, so that we could unite as we Humans are all brothers and sisters. Once we can understand and love each other, I have no doubt that it’s the best way to finally find the long-lasting peace for us all.
