Had it not been for the sudden overthrow of President Yanukovich, the US was prepared to take the country down the path of the Syrian scenario, which would have been its second full-fledged application of Hybrid War.
Andrew’s revolutionary research ultimately shows that it was the US, not Russia, which spearheaded the use of Hybrid Wars, and that given his proven findings, it’s irresponsible to even call Russia’s alleged involvement in the Ukrainian Crisis a ‘hybrid war’. Ground Breaking Research and Framework to Analyse Correctly Current and Developing Global Events

Andrew Korybko’s ground breaking HYBRID WARS: THE INDIRECT ADAPTIVE APPROACH TO REGIME CHANGE was inspired from the findings of the 2014 Moscow Conference on International Security where a new phrase “Adaptive Approach” was coined to describe the evolving USA’s regime change template and method of warfare employed to maintain their full spectrum dominance over the globe. Korybko expanded on this, placing the Adaptive Approach theory into a geo-political framework, exploring and demonstrating that a combination of colour revolutions and unconventional warfare has become the preferred strategy and tactics for the USA to engage in state destabilization, ready for strategic deployment across the world.
The USA’s actions in Libya pose one extreme end of this aim of maintaining its global status quo, whilst at the other extreme is that of Syria and Ukraine, countries much closer to the core of Russia, where the USA is using indirect, unconventional warfare involving a new, to quote Korybko,“patterned approach towards regime change”. The model for this is colour revolutions and unconventional warfare. Korybko considers this as how the USA will conduct future wars and the structural events in Syria and Ukraine served as the case studies for testing this new theory.
In Hybrid Wars, every aspect of colour revolutions is explored with terms such as “network warfare” discussed and the influence of social media which ultimately aims to create a “swarm” of anti-government actors”. Part of this regime change template includes an array of unconventional warfare strategies including non-state actors and these, along with the strategy of colour revolutions, are mutually complementary parts of the strategy for regime change, a unique concept where the two components flow effortlessly into and out of one another.
Andrew Korybko’s research needs to be urgently disseminated around the world for reading and understanding the dangerous period the world has entered.
