We currently can make and eat healthy cake donuts so always looking for other healthier types to eat.
Each recipe has servings, ingredients list and how to make them. Most are deep fried in oil.
No nutritional information and no pictures. Few are baked but they are not very healthy.
Fascinating to learn how other countries made their donuts. Large section dedicated to fritters and other things that don't resemble a donut.

Donuts are our favorite, before getting this book I used to buying them all the time. Now I can cook them on my own, the book is packed with all kinds of recipes with different flavors and donuts’ ideas to make them really perfect. I guess my donuts are great for the first time but still I’m learning and sometimes it takes more time than I plan before. Anyway, they are really delicious….

This just ruined my diet . Too Yummy!

Well i can just kiss my diet goodbye.

This cookbook has too many mouthwatering donut recipes.

We made a couple of them so far like the glazed , and with sprinkles and they turned out great.

This has super easy recipes and they are pretty much fool-proof.

But don't take my word for it... your scale wont thank you :) lol

A virus in the American bloodstream

Scarlet Letters is a comprehensive collection of examples of how the socialist left seek to control. Cashill's book encapsulates what another well-known and popular author/writer Mark Steyn has observed:

"There is a virus in the American bloodstream right now, frothing away at Miss Schumer, “Dukes of Hazzard”, and a million other things none of which is particularly consequential in itself. But the trick of civilizational self-preservation is to spot this stuff when it’s just small things and stop it at the itsy-bitsy stage. It’s never one thing that is unlike the other, two opposing corners of civilization and barbarism, an express train rocketing from one to the other. It’s always a continuum. The gleefulness of the culture warriors – the abandonment of even any pretense to the tolerance of differing views – does not speak well for where we’re headed. The left takes the view that, in Kathy Shaidle’s words, it’s different when we do it. So banning Gone With The Wind is bad when Nazis do it but good when progressive liberals do it.

"For some of us, that won’t do: what matters is the abandonment of first principles – on free speech, freedom of association, freedom of religion and much else – and when that happens you stand against it, because it won’t stop there. It never does."

What Cashill does in Scarlet Letters is shine a light on the hundreds of examples of small things that are infecting our society. Those who would argue otherwise are either willfully blind or one of the viruses deliberately infecting us. Read the book. It's a disinfectant.

Cashill hits another home run of simple truth

I know Jack Cashill, as a gifted writer and as a person of great character in a world that no longer embraces truth tellers. He is a "participant observer", a person who lives amongst us while carefully reflecting on the no longer subtle changes in our mores right down to the very words we are now allowed to use or thoughts we are allowed to think. Everything he writes is done with substantial analysis in terms of his own self reflection and life experience as well as in the observations of esteemed others of expressed thought and opinion. I have not yet read this entire book but have read numerous excerpts and attended his most recent public introductory presentation for C-SPAN and I must say he hits a timely chord in the struggle for rational harmony in thought and deed in a modern society "progressing" rapidly to a totalitarian state like those of Doctor Zhivago, War and Peace, and Tale of Two Cities. It is a chilling America that in breakneck speed devolved to one that trades 5 terrorists for a traitor and deserter and abandons sanctions on a radical Islamic regime moving to full nuclear capability while also abandoning good US citizens, including a Christian pastor, military member, and a journalist rotting in foreign prisons. This is an America that wants to lynch a dentist for killing an African lion, while the Africans can only ask "Cecil who?", and a media that obsessively reports the outrage over the killing and dismemberment of said African lion while ho-humming "nothing to see here" killing, dismemberment, and sale of American babies' parts by Planned Parenthood medical staff negotiated over lunch with wine for sufficient revenue to buy herself a Lamborghini. Such a scene in Cashill's world and the rest of us who can still spell "human decency" would not only be stomach churning but it also whittles away at our souls. This is the America of Cashill's "Scarlett Letters." The nasty reviewers here who name call and villify the author are examples of operatives in this movement to silence truth tellers exposed in this book. To them I offer an "L" for Liar. Commit an act of free will - read the book.

Aaron obviously hasn't read the book because the American Thinker article just came out today. I'm getting tired of haters giving books they haven't read 1 star simply because they disagree with the content. I'm giving it 5 stars just to spite him. Que puedo decir... cada una de las historias que se cuenta es historia de la vida real, de un niño o una niña real, que Deanna Albano no solo ha modelado con sus propias manos para darle no un final, sino un inicio feliz. Ahora las eleva a literatura con amor y con habilidad y con una sola preocupación. Que sepamos y que nos importe, porque son reales y ella los ha visto y tocado. Tanto nos preocupamos de seguirle la vida y la muerte a personajes ficticias y a figuras públicas que son casi ficticias, sentimos sus... problemas? Qué pueden ser en comparación con los de estos niños, si muy venezolanos, pero por lo reales avatares de todos los otros niños de cualquier lugar del mundo y era que han vivido, viven y vivirán en la calle.

Many recipes are not found on the website so don't miss out! This is a must have for anyone attempting to cook Chinese food. So far all the recipes I've made are 100% hit and 0% miss. Be makes authentic Chinese food so you can say bye bye to your local starchy fast food restaurant. The food is colorful, which makes it more appetizing and healthy. I also love that there's a list of ingredients with comments/definitions for people who may not be familiar with some of the items and a picture of the brands of sauces that Bee recommends. Her book is detailed and organized.

I adore Asian dishes for the flavors and the one of kind flavors every time when I plan to cook some for myself; I get confounded about what to cook and so forth. I must say that the creator Alexandra Alexa has an awesome decision of taste! This book made simple to appreciate Asian dishes by giving the yummy and heavenly formulas. I cherish the way that the book gave primary dishes, side dishes, soups, plates of mixed greens, canapes furthermore pastries that have incredible Asian conventional flavors.

I discovered these formulas are anything but difficult to make as well as exceptionally delectable. Another in addition to of the book is that the writer hasn't bound it to the principle dishes. The colorful fonts of this book also appealing to read.

I wondered some about why the book was called “professional cooking” until I saw the types of directions given. Just reading the book, you can almost visualize and smell the preparation of the dishes! The descriptive language makes it so much better. That’s the mark of a good cook to me. No matter how good the recipe, they want to make it better! I do recommend this book for those, like me, who love to try new foods. Hey, let’s face it, I recommend it for anyone who really likes to eat good food.

About the Author

Chef Melanie Underwood developed her enthusiasm for fresh and organic food as a child on her family's farm in Loudoun County, Virginia, where she began cooking at age four. She apprenticed with noted pastry chef Jill Light at a hotel in Washington, D.C., before moving to New York, where she demonstrated her talent for baking and desserts at the Four Seasons Hotel, the Plaza Hotel, Torre di Pisa, and other celebrated New York City restaurants. Since 1996 Underwood has been sharing her expertise as a cooking and baking instructor for professional and recreational programs at the Institute for Culinary Education (ice.edu), has taught private cooking classes at Home Cooking New York in Manhattan's SoHo neighborhood (homecookingny.com), and is frequently invited to teach throughout the country. Underwood also tests and develops recipes for many corporate clients, including Dairy Management, Diageo, Folgers Coffee, Kraft Foods, Sara Lee, Splenda, Ziploc, and other high-profile brands. Cheesecake Convert

I love to cook but hate to bake... and have never baked a cheesecake in my life because it seemed too time consuming with too many steps. Well, with Making Artisan Cheesecake, I first sat and read the first 30-pages. Armed with this knowledge, I embarked on my first cheesecake: NY. What can I say, it was perfection in every aspect... crisp and buttery crust, sweet and tangy cake with a creamy yet firm texture. My husband remarked it was "Restaurant Quality" and the entire thing was eaten that afternoon between us and my two kids. I have since made other cheesecakes from the book and each has been "Perfect!". I am a convert -- cheesecakes are the best make-ahead dessert, and will definitely be my go-to for a party or potluck. The book helps to break down the process and gives you enough information to adjust the recipes to your own kitchen and tastes, without any fear. The ultimate cheesecake book!

Love this book! Cheesecake is a serious business in my family. Baked, New York style. That is the cheesecake we have enjoyed for many years. Making Artisan Cheesecakes by Melanie Underwood is changing everything, one delicious cheesecake at a time. It is a joyous book overflowing with no-bake and easy-bake cheesecake recipes bold enough to grab you by the throat and demand to be made. As a chef for over twenty years, I can attest that these recipes are of superb quality, each one a plate-scraper and one-more-slicer. My favourites are the Peanut Butter Mini Cheesecakes, the White Chocolate Cheesecake and the luscious Hot Chocolate Cheesecake. My husband loves the Lemon Cheesecake Bars, and insisted I mention them in my review. The recipes are concise, and have easy to follow instructions. This book is a keeper for the kitchen.
